Real vs Midi

Being a student at California institute of the Arts in Valencia, California, I have access to an exceptional pool of talented musicians. Some of whom, I've used in the past for more midi electronic/ambient sound tracks. This time however, I wanted to hear the sound of actual instruments and to utilize the classical training I've received from attending both the College of Santa Fe and Cal Arts for the Chernobyl Video so I gathered together a small orchestra of classically-trained students. They graciously accepted my $10 each pay scale.

I composed the music you're hearing specifically for Harrison Chapmans, "Chernobyl" video, (with a nod toward Bernard Hermann = great film scorer of The Birds, North by Northwest, Psycho, etc). It's a dark subject...Chernobyl. Harrison Chapmans video photography is disturbing but beautiful enough to contain slivers of Hope. Thanks for the opportunity Harrison....
